Just a quick note to say a big “Happy Birthday” to my brother Jay who is 26 years old today.
After watching hours and hours of Gordon Ramsay’s TV programmes, he’s going to spend all day baking for his party this evening. Before anyone else arrives and snaps up all the food, I’d like to officially claim a white chocolate mousse. Keep it to one side bro.
(Edit: I must apologise to other party-goers. I claimed a white chocolate mousse but it was so rich I could barely manage a quarter of it. Sorry).

29 January 2008 18:00At 3:10am on 29th January 2008, my sister Janine gave birth to my niece Nadene Brown. Weighing in at 7 lbs 8½ ozs, Nadene is my first niece and Steven and Janine’s first child. I am now an uncle for the first time… “Fun Uncle Dan” is my full title
