Samsung to release 7" Tablet 2nd September
As it says in the title, Samsung are set to release their first Tablet on the 2nd of September in Germany. Images are hard to come by! The first pic is 'official' suggesting the second more common pic is either leaked prototype pic or they have changed the hardware slightly. Tweetdeck for Android: Beta.
Just a quickie… Tweetdeck, one of the most popular twitter clients for desktop,iphone and ipad is now out in Beta form for Android. I'm not going to post the link as It's a leak and I don't want to get Paul into trouble! But it doesn't take much looking to find the .apk file. It's different to the usual apps, nice and certainly worth a try. That is all. Official: HTC Desire Getting an Upgrade to Froyo this weekend!! HTC Desire could be getting its upgrade to Android 2.2 starting tomorrow. Acer Stream to be released August the 9th
Acer release their latest android phone in the UK August the 9th. Engadget are reporting that the Acer stream gets it's UK release via expansys on the 9th of August. This is looking like a modest jump up from the Liquid, sporting very similar specifications to the Nexus one. On it's own this is a decent looking phone, but the buoyant state of the Android market at the moment means there are plenty of other similar options out there. Shipped roms to shut down
Quick news post. A little sad, but Shipped Roms is to shut down. I won't muck around pasting his text, but to summarise he (conflipper) has been asked not to post any more Rom on his site, previously he had agreed with HTC to only post official Roms and not leaks, but now HTC are asking him not to post ANY new Roms, he can leave up what is already there, but to be honest, that is a rather pointless exercise. Droid 2 Set to land August the 23rd …?
The Hotly Rumoured Droid 2 is looking set for a 23rd of August Launch. New improved picture added Engadget is reporting it will ship with an 8gb sd card and cost $199 on contract and $599 standalone.
